It's all going a bit dotty...

Nail art is something that I have always loved, i think a little added bit of detail on any girls nails makes her feel that extra bit special :) I love trying out lots of different types of nail art and nail designs, so I was really happy to see that on a recent shopping trip, that Primark had started their own range of nail art at super cheap prices. I did buy a few different bits which i will hopefully get round to reviewing soon, but today iam going to focus on their double set of nail art pens.

As you can see from the pictures you get two nail art pens in this pack, one black and one white.  Before I tell you about the actual art pen itself, I am just going to explain the pens in detail as they have a few other unseen uses. As you can see from the photo each pen is divided into two sections, the top section of the pen has the nail colour in and the bottom section is a unscrewable pot which has lots of small round silver jewels which are brilliant to use as part of your nail designs.

The top section of the pen can also be unscrewed revealing a nail brush, meaning the pen can also be used as a normal nail varnish for an all over colour on the nail which is a useful tool to have.

Moving on to the actual nail art pen itself, as you can see from the photo, the nib of the pen it very thin making small nail designs easy to do. I went for the easy option of polka dots just to test out the pen first. I choose Rimmel London Lasting Finish varnish in 702 Marshmallow Heaven for a base colour and the white nail art pen for the polka dots. I found the pen easy and
comfortable
to hold and the colour distribution through the nib was just enough. I hate it with nail pens when the liquid comes out way to fast and it makes nail design really hard to do.  Obviously as with many other other nail art pens if you do need more nail colour, you just have to squeeze the coloured tube on the pen.

Overall I really like this nail art set because there are so many different things you can do with it, and at only £2.00 I think its an absolute bargain. I would definitely recommend this.

Let me know what you think…
